Government of Tamil Nadu makes admissions to B.E. / B.Tech. Courses of all the affiliated colleges through a common merit list of candidates administered by Anna University, Chennai. Further details on this would be available from T.N. government advertisements in newspapers and at www.annauniv.edu following the publication of results for higher secondary examinations.
Admissions to all P.G. courses (M.E., M.Tech., MBA, MCA etc.,) in all affiliated colleges are made by Government of Tamil Nadu through TANCET (Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test) administered by Anna University, Chennai. Further details on this are available at www.annauniv.edu/tancet2013.
Admission to Ph.D. programs with the recognized Research Centres at all affiliated colleges are made by Centre for Research, Anna University, Chennai twice a year. Aspiring research scholars are expected to get in touch with the recognized supervisors associated with the research centres to fix a tentative research topic and obtain their consent for being a supervisor to the applicant. The applicants desirous of taking up Ph.D. programs with any of the 9 KCT Centres of research recognized by Anna University (see www.kct.ac.in/academic/research ) are requested to contact the recognized supervisors at the above centres.
